Abstract

著者는 姙娠 7½日이 되는 白鼠에다 X線을 照射하고 18½日이 되는 仔白鼠에서 誘導된
下顎骨의 發育相을 檢索한 바 다음과 갚은 結果를 얻었다.
1. 100rads에서 200rads 照射된 仔白鼠에서는 不規則한 骨樑이 形成되고 萎縮된 核을 가
진 纖維芽細胞 및 骨芽細胞를 볼 수가 있었다.
2. 300rads에서 400rads 照射된 仔白鼠에서는 骨膜에서 纖維芽細胞의 減沙傾向을 觀察하
였고 또한 骨質에서는 빈 骨小腔을 볼 수가 있었다.
3. 照射量이 增加됨에 따라 破骨細胞의 出現이 增加되며 骨質의 吸收도 增加되는 傾向이
있었다.

The effect of irradiation of x-ray to developing rat mandible in the gestation stage
was focused on the study of mandible development and the side effect of x -ray
irradiation.
The author studied the effect of x-ray irradiation with the gestated rat and their
off'springs.
100 rads, 200 rads, 300 rads and 400 rads of x-ray was irradiated in regular order
schematically at the lower left abdomen of gestated rat.
18½days after conception, their off'springs were sacrificed and examined their
developing mandible with histological findings.
The results were as followed.
1. In the 100-200 rads irradiated rat off'springs, bony trabeclulation was revealed
irregular shape. In combine with this finding, osteoblast and fibroblast were appeared
shrunken of their nucleus and location of eccentric position.
2. In the 300-400 rads irradiated rat off'springs, decrease of fibroblast and osteoblast
appearance in the periosteum were prominently observed and empty lacunae were
frequently appeared in their bone matrix,
3. The advent of osteoclast and resorption of cortical bone were appeared in
proportion to increasing of x -ray irradiation.
